Chain Reactions

Eight recipes with discoverer credits — including one datamine-backed reconstruction, honestly labeled.

Verified on patch 1.0 unless noted. One recipe (Yesterday's Sun) is a datamine-backed reconstruction — marked honestly.

Popcorn Chain

Pinecone ×10 in a row

Each pop +20% over the last; the 10th pops for 12×. Feed steadily — gaps reset the chain.

Found: Tutorial text, but the 12× payoff was datamined day one.

Black Burn

Tire + Tanker Truck within 4s

3× combined heat, black smoke debuff for 20s. Purifier upgrade removes the downside.

Found: Found by accident in the demo; the devs kept it and named it.

Orbital Requiem

Grand Piano + Satellite while the piano chord still rings

Screen-wide shockwave: all visible fuel ignites at once. The flashiest clear in the game.

Found: Steam user "tuner_88" was transcribing the piano chord and fed a satellite mid-note, launch day.

Rumor Fire

Love Letters + Cult Pamphlets alternately ×6

Follower gain ×2 for 60s. The cult grows on gossip; who knew.

Found: Hinted by the pamphlet tooltip ("burns like gossip"). Confirmed within hours.

Carpark Bonfire

Used Car ×3 stacked before feeding

The stack burns as one object at 2.2× total heat. The forklift upgrade pays for itself here.

Found: Day-one physics experiment thread, post #41.

Home Eclipse

Moon Chunk during a Sun rain event

The rain stops instantly and the Sun retreats for 30s. The only hard counter to rain.

Found: Found day one by a player who "just wanted to see what happens". What happens: astronomy.

Yesterday's Sun

Burn 3 Moon Chunks in one Celestial phase → the shop restocks with a new item

Unlocks the secret fuel: Yesterday's Sun (50,000 heat). Yes, it hurts the ending. No, we won't say how here.

Found: Not found yet as of launch day 22:00. The shop code path is datamined; the trigger is our best reconstruction.

Damp Squib (anti-pattern)

Any big fuel during rain without shelter

Rain halves burn value. The most common day-one waste; check the sky before the tanker.

Found: Everyone. Repeatedly. Including this site's editor. Twice.
